Handfuls of Purpose is a dedicated group of compassionate, God-fearing individuals who strive to serve their community by sharing the gospel and making a meaningful difference. With a heart for service, they have become invaluable partners to Living Water Shower Ministry, providing clean clothing to neighbors who use our mobile shower facilities. Their work restores dignity and guides others toward building a relationship with Christ, creating lasting spiritual impact.
Living Water Shower Ministry is incredibly grateful to co-labor the gospel with our partner Handfuls of Purpose. This incredible Christ-centered ministry works alongside us to serve our neighbors, restore dignity, and offer hope. We do this together by meeting real needs, creating relationships with our neighbors in need, and offering the Living Water in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Handfuls of Purpose has been a tremendous and consistent partner serving our Greater Frederick neighbors. We are beyond thankful for their willingness to serve, endless prayers, and relentless effort to share “Love thy Neighbor”. We continue to labor together and look to the future of our Kingdom partnership!
The Glory of Christ is on full display in Handfuls of Purpose. Handfuls of Purpose provides clothes, hygiene products and other personal items to those living without a home. In cooperation with the Living Water Shower Ministry, Handfuls of Purpose is a grassroots ministry that provides much needed services, faith-based counsel, and love to those among us who are much less fortunate. My volunteer work with HOP has been enriching, and through my service work with them, I am reminded in Mark 10:45 that “For even the son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” It is evident that God’s Grace and Love are at the center of the Handfuls of Purpose Ministry.
